“This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius”
You may be too young to remember this song by The 5th Dimension but I’m a child of the 60’s and running across these lyrics last week was no accident. Every 2000 years or so we enter into a new Astrological Age.
It takes several hundred years to gradually transition from one age to another and we are currently transitioning from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. You may have heard the buzz about the Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn which apparently hasn’t been this profound since the 1600’s.
These astrological events, coupled with the Winter Solstice occurring today, are generating some very powerful energy shifts. I’m not here to make predictions, I’ll leave that up to the Astrologers. But what I do know is that 2020 uncovered some not so pleasant truths that have been bubbling beneath the surface for some time now. We’ve stared the darkness in the face and are being called to make big changes. It as though we’re witnessing a breaking down of systems and ways of being that no longer serve us. And through this deconstruction, we’ve been given time to reflect on who we want to be, what is most important to us, and how we want to move forward.
I am being reminded to stay in the present moment, appreciate the simple things, and connect in more meaningful ways in my personal relationships. I’m setting healthier boundaries for myself to better preserve the flow of energy that’s going OUT…and to embrace everything that is coming IN with an open heart. I feel a renewed sense of purposefulness in my mission to offer safe, sacred space and build a community of people who share a common goal of raising the collective frequency and vibration.
As we approach this much anticipated New Year & New Age, I encourage you to ask yourself these questions. What is being illuminated for you? What are you ready to let go of? And how will you turn your insights into actions in 2021?
